Say hello to Michael Valmonte of City Real Estate. Michael is a third-generation San Franciscan, and with the exception of the fours years he spent studying at Dartmouth, he has lived in the city his entire life. He’s attracted to real estate because it combines his passions for property management and helping people in the city he loves.
While a relatively new agent, Michael’s introduction to real estate and property management came when he started helping a landlord/contractor with the management of 75 units some ten years ago. A second position as an admin for a construction company introduced Michael to the world of contractors and landlords. Best, those early experiences offered Michael the flexibility to explore other endeavors that would help form the strong foundations of his real estate career.
So experiences as an ESL (English as a Second Language) instructor, juvenile justice counselor, and physical therapy assistant have combined to give him the ability to work easily and comfortably across cultural lines with diverse groups of people, something that comes in handy when working in such a vibrantly diversified city. They have also helped inform the social, communication, and facilitative skills that are essential parts of his duties as Director of Operations at City Real Estate.
Michael brings honesty, compassion, loyalty, and an undying affinity for San Francisco to everything he does. That includes the deep love of his family, and a passion for running. He currently competes at 200 and 400 meters, and he looks to compete at a Master’s level soon. He also loves indulging in San Francisco’s amazing restaurant scene, which could explain all of the running.
